First permanently-assigned U.S. Soldiers arrive in Poland

U.S. Army V Corps reached another large milestone that has set the foundation for future Soldiers who permanently change their duty station to become new members of Victory Corps forward at Camp Kosciuszko, Poland. V Corps has offered Soldiers the opportunity to conduct a Permanent Change of Station, known as PCS, to the camp, which will further enhance readiness and show further commitment to NATO allies and partners.

eFP Battle Group Poland's Warfighting Might During Bull Run ‘22

The NATO enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Poland consisting of the 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment (3-8 CAV), 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, operationally controlled by the 1st Infantry Division, alongside Polish Armed Forces 15th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, The Royal Lancers, Prince of Wales Troop, Romanian Sky Guardians, and Croatian army Archer Battery participated in the annual Bull Run training exercise in Bemowo Piskie, Poland, Nov. 17 - 25, 2022.

eFP Battle Group Poland, Combined Arms, Combined Strength

BEMOWO PISKIE, Poland – NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) Battle Group Poland was established in 2017 as a multinational combined force that included units from the United States, Poland, the U.K., Romania, and Croatia. The mission of the eFP Battle Group Poland is to strengthen the NATO Alliance’s deterrence and defensive posture in Poland. Currently lead by the 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment (3-8 CAV), 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division (3-1 ABCT) operationally controlled by the 1st Infantry Division (1 ID), alongside The Royal Lancers, Prince of Wales Troop, Romanian Sky Guardians, and Croatian Archer Battery operate in concert with the Polish 15th Mechanized Brigade.
