Major General Maciej JABLONSKI  began his service
in the Polish Army in 1988, when he became a cadet at
the Military Academy of Armored Forces named Stefan
Czarniecki in Poznan. Following his graduation from
Armoured Officers School in 1992, for seven years he
served on different posts within 1st “Warszawska” Armoured
Brigade. His service in the 1th Armoured Brigade culminated in
his appointment as the Brigade’s Chief of Training & Exercise.

In the years 1999-2001 he studied at the National Defence
University in Warsaw and upon graduation he was designated
to different positions in the Land Forces Command in Warsaw,
where he served nine years, i.e. as Deputy Chief HQ Training
Branch and finally as Chief of Operational Branch.

In 2011 he was deployed to Afghanistan as Chief of Staff –
Deputy Commander of the Polish Military Contingent in the ISAF.

In 2013 he joined National Defence University once again,
attending the Postgraduate Defence Policy Studies. Subsequently,
he became involved in organization of the General Command of
the Polish Armed Forces and upon its establishment he became
Chief of Development Planning Directorate - J5.

In 2014 he took over the responsibilities as the Commander of
the 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade in Swietoszów. On 1 August
2015 he was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General. In 2016
he became Chief of the Armed Forces Operational Planning and
Training Directorate - J3/7 in the General Staff of the Polish Armed
Forces.

In June 2018 General JABLONSKI was appointed to the post of
Commander of 12th Mechanized Division in Szczecin. He
successfully led subordinated units through all major exercises
and operations assigned to the division. In June 15, 2018 General
JABLONSKI was promoted to Major General by the
President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda.

In the recognition of his service since September 2020 he is the
Land Forces Inspector, responsible for organization, training and
armament of all land forces units.

In his free time he enjoys sailing, motorization and he studies foreign
cultures. He is married with one son.
