Plans and Operations

Missions

• Planning and conducting Civil-Military Operations (CMO) during peacetime, war, and operations other than war (to include Host Nation Support, Foreign Nation Support, Population and Resource Control Measures, and CA Tactical Support Team employment);

• Managing the Civil Affairs (CA) Overseas Deployment Training (ODT) program (which includes representing V Corps in the semi-annual Coordinating Conference and tracking ODT line requirements);

• Facilitating CMO training for subordinate units, both Active and Reserve component (to include V Corps major training exercises as well as CA Mobile Training Team events).

Additionally, this section is responsible for coordinating with Reserve CA assets for other than ODT missions, such as Partnership for Peace exercises.
